A steady place to stand
while you climb up.

Ladder House Living provides structured, supportive housing for veterans, individuals in recovery, people experiencing or facing homelessness, and returning citizens rebuilding stability after a hard chapter.

Who We Serve

Built for people rebuilding.

Every resident arrives at a different starting point. Our model is built around people who need the same thing: a stable home base and a plan forward.

Veterans

Transitional housing that respects military experience, with support connecting to VA benefits including Aid & Attendance.

Individuals in Recovery

A stable, substance-free environment that supports the routines and accountability recovery depends on.

Returning Citizens

Reentry housing for people coming home from incarceration, with a path toward independent living.

Individuals Experiencing or Facing Homelessness

A stable address and daily structure for people moving from shelters, the street, or housing instability into permanent housing.

Our Approach

Three rungs, in order.

Nobody moves in and moves out the same week. Residents move through the same three stages, at their own pace.

01
Intake & Stabilization

Get settled, get assessed

A resident moves in, gets settled, and gets a plan. We assess needs and connect benefits — SSI/SSP, VA, or county Area Agency on Aging support — right away.

02
Structured Support

Build the routine

Daily structure, house accountability, and connection to outside services — case management, treatment, employment support — become the resident's rhythm.

03
Toward Independence

Step off the ladder

With stability established, residents work toward independent housing, with Ladder House staying in their corner through the move.

What a resident gets.

For Partners & Referrals

Working alongside the people who refer.

Ladder House Living is built to work with the agencies and case managers already supporting a resident — not around them.

  • DOCReentry housing coordination for justice-involved individuals leaving incarceration.
  • VAHousing support for veterans, including Aid & Attendance benefit coordination.
  • AAAPartnership with county Area Agencies on Aging on SSI/SSP resident payment rates.
  • Case MgmtDirect coordination with discharge planners, parole officers, and treatment providers.
"Our goal isn't just a roof. It's a resident who's ready to hold their own lease." — Ladder House Living
